Before I tell you more, let me tell you a little about myself. I mean, if you are going to buy the book about living your dreams, wouldn't you like to know that I am living my dreams? I would!
I was born in 1966 to a father and mother who didn't get along very well. In fact, they were headed for divorce. My dad didn't even want to have me. Four years later my dad died of cancer. Though he had been making $90,000 a year (in 1970!) he had only $30,000 worth of life insurance. My mother sold our large house in the country club and she and I moved into a small condominium. We were now lower middle class.
By my teenage years I was fully into drugs and alcohol. I was bitter. I was depressed. My life was going nowhere fast!
When I was seventeen I had an experience that changed my life around, and since then I have been in hot pursuit of my dreams - and getting them!
Here is a little about my life now: I live in a beautiful home in a suburb of Seattle, Washington, I have a wonderful wife and four truly delightful and healthy children. I make great money doing what I love to do. I am surrounded by friends and colleagues who are some of the finest and most talented people there are on this old planet of ours. I have been speaking professionally since 1988 and I have had the privilege of sharing the platform with many extremely talented people including U.S. Presidential candidates, nationally known television news anchors, best-selling authors, professional athletes and many others. I have spoken on success to groups at some of America's finest organizations such as General Electric, the Harvard Business School, Cisco Systems, as well as many others.
