This parable is based on an incident that happened in a Southern California town when a large hill suddenly gave way and cascaded down, taking several houses with it. In the aftermath, some very interesting reasons for the landslide surfaced. And it is this part of the tale that teaches all of us about unconscious paradigms in our heads.
